A few days ago Lemony Snicket escaped from his hiding place to give a lecture to some of his biggest fans. At the last minute, he was unable to make it because he had experienced an unfortunate event himself, having been bitten on the arm by a crocodile during a picnic! He had managed to send a replacement so fans were not too disappointed. In fact the replacement, Daniel Handler, knew an awful lot about the mysterious and reclusive author. Perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye!
