National Poetry Day falls on October 5th and the theme this year is IDENTITY. There is a national competition for children to write a poem on the theme of ME. At Pinewood we will also be running a competition in the library. Entry details are available from the library counter, which also gives some ideas on getting started with your poem. The closing date is 20th October (the Friday before half term) and winning poets will receive a free book of their choice from the Book Fair after half term.
